Sneak peak: Halo Aerotrack rims

Brighten up your fixed or track iron with some candy coloured rims

Just in some sneak peak pics of the new Halo Aerotrack Rims - 27mm Deep Section 32H non brake surface rims.

The new rims will come in a wide range of colours: Green, Red, Purple, Blue, Silver, White, Black, Gold, Pink, Yellow.

The difference between these and Halo's Aerorage Rims is that the Aerotracks have a  deeper section and don't have a machined brake surface.

Halos's coloured rims are already really popular with fixed and Singlespeed riders, but Halo say they will do will do the job for anybody that wants to brighten up their bike. As the name suggests the Aerotrack would certainly work well on a track bike, although we'd probably opt for the Aerorage and its machined braking surface on a road bike or singlespeed.

Also available as complete wheels in Black, White, Yellow, Purple and Silver for between £81 and £94..

The rims should be available in 2-3 months.

well, I'd assume that a machined braking surface is going to be more effective than a non-machined one, hence these being the aerotrack rims

Is the braking less effective with these?
