Although someone on the Cycle Show said that it is not easy to play at the Nou Camp or Wembley or play cricket at Lord's whereas, and if you are fit or mad enough, you can ride in the footsteps of giants on TdF climbs like the Tourmalet or the Aubisque or the Ventoux or Alpe d'Huez - I think it was Gary Kemp [Spandau Ballet] actually. And of course cycling is not just about spectating, it is about participation and it's good for you and lets face it great fun as well. Allez!
Not sure that last point has much merit.
They way I look at it - there are only a few things you can get for football? Whereas with cycling it's a never ending plethora of things.
How often does a football wear out? What about a chain and cassette and that new shiny thing and that saddle and those handlebars which are gonna be definitely more better than previous?
Tires... ? a lot of them there are.
+1 I agree completely... unfortunately football is still loved way more
Well, I do love Wiggle.
