Angry with Lance? Trade in your Livestrong bracelet!

I did things like this as a junior school kid... but I grew out of it. This Armstrong stuff is becoming tiresome, replace it with something about cycling

Not sure if some of these comments are relating to the video or the wristband amnesty? However for clarity, Cyclists Fighting Cancer is a UK charity that gives bikes , specially adapted trikes and tandems to help children affected by cancer aged 2-18 with their rehabilitation both physically and mentally. These awards make an extraordinary difference to their lives.

The purpose of the amnesty is nothing more than a promotional campaign to raise awareness of our work and to show that there is a very positive story here in relation to cancer and cycling after months of negative ones.

Simples!

This is a good fix for the Livestrong bands (I have a small stock of them somewhere will send the lot in!).

However, the big question is Dodgeball going to be re-released with Armstrong removed? His dead-pan delivery is not funny any more. Nominations for inspirational sportsperson to replace him in that critical scene welcome.

Idol (hero) worshippers have it coming. It should be about the cause not the messenger. If you can't tell those apart, you need help.

Honesty and decency are obviously not characteristics you have ever possessed, I guess? Otherwise it'd be pretty clear.

For me it was the repeated winning and repeated denials. I hated it that his life was a lie and that he bullied people from letting the truth get out.

I couldn't laugh at the YouTube link. I understand the jokes, but I don't think the man understood. Besides his opening gambit was about Lance putting money towards cancer research, his charity does cancer awareness, whatever that is. I've even been onto his website and cannot really understand how they spend all that money.

I don't like being duped (and never was by Lance) but he harmed competition/cycling/sport.

These people complaining about Armstrong seem very strange to me. They convinced themselves that a "sport" performed for money was really a sport. And now when they've had their illusions shattered they blame Armstrong rather than themselves. It's very much like going to a prostitute then being so disappointed when it turns out she really doesn't love you. People who blame Armstrong are the same as those who would blame the prostitute.

I think in the long run this person has the right outlook on Lance
