Simplon launch the Kiaro Disc

The new disc version of Simplon's 'comfort racer' has internal routing through the headset and Simplon's 'Raptor Dropout' for increased fork comfort on uneven roads

Austrian bike brand Simplon have launched the Kiaro Disc, with comfort in mind plus plenty of aero features and prices starting at a very reasonable £2,639.

The bike makes use of Simplon's 'Comfort Concept', which is characterised by flattened tube cross-sections on the seat and chainstays, seat post, top tube and the seat tube to provide extra comfort and torsional rigidity. The sloping 'Raptor' dropouts enable the fork blades to be flatter than usual forks without changing the geometry, say Simplon, which gives the forks improved vertical flex.

12mm thru-axles and the flatmount standard are specced for the latest in hydraulic disc-braking technology, and the neatly integrated headset means cables are all shielded from the wind. Simplon's 'Vibrex' shock absorption technology prevents fatigue over long rides.

Available in white or red in various builds, the Kiaro Disc is coming soon and you can find out more on Simplon's website here
