We hope you all enjoyed the bank holiday weekend come rain or shine, it certainly didn't stop us getting out for a ride whatever the weather! Here's the pick of the test pile this week...
SKS Germany Airstep Foot Pump
£64.99
Foot pumps aren't just for footballs, as this one from SKS knocks out up to 102 psi with Pesta, Shrada and Dunlop valve adapters to cover all possibilities. It promises a user-friendly large pressure gauge and integrated storage space for the hose, and a robust aluminium foot pedal so it should last for years - "pumping has never been so easy on your back", say SKS. Is it better than the humble floor pump? Mike Stead's verdict is coming soon.

Kali Tava Flow helmet
£199.99
Kali say the Tava Flow is one of the fastest helmets in its class, with a wind tunnel-optimised shape and a BOA retention system in line with the credentials of other high-end aero road helmets out there. Kali's Composite Fusion Squared tech combines multi-density EPS foam and dual direction geometric cone shapes, that they say provides superior impact protection. It weighs in at 272g, pretty light for an aero helmet, and George Hill will be telling us if he thinks it's worth the cash in his review shortly.

Rapha Pro Team Lightweight Shadow jacket
£200.00
Rapha's latest packable jacket features a revamped version of their Shadow fabric, that Rapha say is just as strong but now a bit lighter in this jacket that weighs a mere 188g. The jacket is twice treated in a DWR coating for the ultimate in water repellency, and as there's no need for an extra membrane Rapha say it will breathe very well when the weather gets warm and humid. It's a race fit, with a full-length two way zipper and some reflective logos for the obligatory bonus safety points. Is it a safe bet when the weather turns nasty, though? The review's coming soon.

Smith Rebound glasses
£115.00
"Built for enduro riders with a need for speed", say Smith, the Rebound shades have a large full-rim frame that looks fairly casual but is made for performance too. They have Smith's ChromaPop lenses that also appear on their high-end road sunglasses, adapting to light by darkening in bright conditions and lightening when it gets duller. The frame comes with hydrophilic rubber megol nose pads which are said to help keep the glasses in position however extreme your riding habits, and the not-too-intimidating looks will mean you can wear them on or off the bike. Are the Rebounds the solid all-rounders we're hoping them to be? Mike Stenning's testing them now, with a verdict coming early next month...

Designer: I've cracked it, it's taken me a month to work out how to make a helmet aerodynamic..
Designers mate: erm.. it doesn't have any holes in it, won't my head get a bit hot.. also it doesn't look very technical. Is all the tech stuff hidden inside?
Designer: Erm.. yes it's got lots of tech in it.. I've used foam made on the other side of the world! Ventilation holes.. no worries, fixed it. Aero Helmet, bish bash bosh, completed it mate.
