dhb R2.0C Carbon Road Cycling Shoe - Opinions?

Anyone own a pair? Reviews seem solid but I'd like to hear the opinions of those who have used them on an everyday basis.

Thanks

I've used them. Plenty stiff enough, seem well made.. Bit prone to hot spots and not as comfortable as high end shoes over long distances (eg the Northwaves I now use, but that could be personal), but very good value for money. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you got them.

I used the M2.0C ones - same shoe but with SPDs and treads.

They are good. Sole is extremely stiff.

Had them for about 3 years and used for mountain biking, commuting and road riding.

Uppers started to break down a bit - outside layer coming off and the insole compacted down but was easily replaced.

They're still usable, but I found that they had loosened off too much for me to do them up tight enough and I was getting sore feet.

I would have bought them again but they don't make the SPD ones any more.

I just got some Giro Republics posted over from the USA at a good price (They are the SPD version of the Empire)

Nice to have new shoes again, and I like the laces.

Sole isn't quite as stiff but may prove to be a little more comfortable
