Any one else sick of waiting for it to start now, i didn't know it was on later because it was a short stage 20

well im hoping for a top 10 for cadel, and then i can sacrifice him for cav on the last day. think im gonna sacrifice frank tomorrow for a should top 3 TT guy.

my big decision is do i sacrifice the guaranteed 3 points from jelle or the likely at least 4-6 points for tommy v?

Stage 63 IN:Fabian CANCELLARA OUT:Thomas VOECKLER

Easy enough, -10 for Sabatini, but if Cancellara wins he'll score more than Voeckler 19

a hundardt and twinty five pints as sean would say, too little too late.
by the way it took me 2 hours to climb the alpe d'huez, because the gathering crowds, use recreation climbers as entertainment in the few days before the stage, and much time was spent chatting to scottish and dutch people and sharing a drink for les vitamins 4

Not 100% sure, but i dont think its ever been decided on the final stage, mainly because they dont race until the last few laps and its flat, so if someone tried to sneak the win if they were only a few seconds behind, other teams would shut it down because its not the "done" thing

I think the way they have raced this year, "done things" are a thing of the past. But the GC will be decidded Sat.
65 sprint points at stake if Cave blinks too hard, and Rocas nicks it. Unlikely but possible. White jersey will also not be a foregone conclusion.

Breaks have gone out and stayed away on the champs elysees. Vino went off the front in 2005 and managed to stay out to take fifth place from leipheimer. If it's *really* close, it'll be a proper race on sunday.

Who can blame him, although when I read the headline "Ten Dam looking forward to racing up Alpe du Huez" I imagined his thoughts might be fueled by a valiant stage win rather than a cold one on Dutch corner. 22

Yeah but that was a TT final stage instead of the cruise around Paris

The only other notable one would be 87?? i think when Stephen Roche won, did someone not try to attack and take the win from him

I see i have mis-written this

I know Roche won that tour, but someone tried to take some time back, but the whole pack rode to pull him back in because as any pro rider knows, Paris is the final stage and is rode as a procession until the last few laps where the wind up for the final sprint, but i think this year could be interesting because Rojas and Cav will be battling for Green

Joint 12th on the stage. Best ranking ever 4

Though this means that I'm now stuck with a mountain team in an ITT & flat stage.

All I'll hope is that Cadel finishes outside top 20 tomorrow and Andy retains yellow 1
