Tour of California stage 2
What are we expecting today then? I had a very sprint-biased team yesterday which obviously didn't work out too well, so have taken a ten-point hit, but still not really much of an idea who will do well.
Brought in Westra, and Tejay, and someone I didn't expect to go for all season - Andy Schleck - who looked fairly comfortable and interested yesterday.
Still have 4 sprinters though, so won't be a good day - expecting to lose my 2nd place in the Forum Scorum's league tonight! (And then take it back tomorrow with an 80-point solo win from Wauters in the Giro. Maybe.)

you get the impression that it had to be an american based winner and they put that stage in to prove it.
Ridiculous place / time to hold such a stage.
How come Matthews has been removed?
2,5,8, normal service restored form me after a good first stage. I did the classic - must get an expensive rider in- mistake, was gonna go deignan but took zabriskie instead... someone shoot me! i was vaguely aware of acevedo, but didnt get close to choosing him so cant kick myself too much. wont forget him now though!!
Because I couldn't find him listed in the finish results, lots of places have him down as DNF, but on the UCI results, he isn't even there.
Will go double check now

A Deignan win would be good for my team, but I think he will be caught.
Deignan is gonna ruin me anyway.....Ive given up on this race now, today has been nothing short of a disaster for me!

Yeh 1 and 8 for standard, I can't believe I chose not to bring in Tejay
1,2,8 for purist should be ok, considering I have Sagan, Meersman and Matthews for the next 3 days as well as the top 2 in GC, and should be solid in the TT.
Still think no Deignan could cost me
