That is impressive.
I looked up the area, it looks like there used to be little posts on the edge of the grass (I can't think why they would need needed.....) But they probably rotted and were removed leaving some holes, which is what the lady then tripped on, leading to the fence being installed.
Also, looking at the distance to either end of the fence, it doesn't look like it would use much more energy than the energy they're currently expending climbing over the fence.

One of their neighbours (or they) have complained to Google to get a house blurred, but now we can look at it in the newspaper photos, which seems to defeat the purpose of having it blurred
The driver of the Maserati failed to see the marked #RPU car in the rear view as it was followed at 125mph
Should have come to Lancashire! I have a photo of a Maserati with no MOT somewhere in the 2022 lists, but I can't find it without a lot of effort- a weakness in the filing system. It's set up for finding other appearances of the reg. and not for the vehicle type. Sometimes, I can remember them by key facts: this one with the non-existent plate is run by Hooray Henry outfit The Cannon Run
You should see it where I am in the USA. Warnings not to leave your cars unlocked as teens wander through at night checking door handles. One lady posted that two guns were stolen out of her husband's truck! I'm not joking.
But I did like the comment that read, "if you don't like the speed cameras please raise your right foot"!
Legendairy
Obviously not that notorious...
Don't remember headlights being an optional extra on my car...
Nice to see Age UK defending the Grey Menace, the "I've got no choice/ oh whoops have I spent the last 50 years driving everywhere and killing off the local buses?"
Hairdressers shop fronts and Tesco car parks beware.
Social Media is the Devil's work.
Although presumably not as profound an effect as if he had been hit by a speeding train...
Was he on his way to hospital for chemotherapy?
I take it that the Police will be heavy handed in their usual way and arrest everyone who steps into the road to distrupt the God that is motor traffic. Afterall, the law is the same for us all.... or is it only relevant if the Polices paymasters don't like the reason behind the demonstration?
No, Officer, they are er for wheelie bins. Yes, the opposite neighbour, it's his birthday - he has a lot of bins.
Forced, I tells ya.
Yes, but my gold plated diesel guzzling w@nkpanzer enhances the look of the natural environment!
I would assume is what the moaning people say.
The article says that even before the motorist turned up they had had to clear away wet-wipes and human faeces from the site
It's like hawkinspeter said yesterday - speed limits and LTNs and school streets are all subject to endless consultation, yet there's never any local consultation for building a new motorway junction or a bypass...
"Clueless", Birmingham Mail, the word is "clueless".
Frome is full of ex-Londoners who sold their semi inside the M25 so they could buy a Somerset mansion.
There are happy traders and a retail boom happening near Wellingborough at the free (for 5 hours only) parking oasis that is Rushden Lakes.
It's a forum comment on a thread to note press coverage, not a story.
The scene of the crime.
So much to unpack
So little time.
EDIT : just noticed the lamppost EV charging point - another trip hazard for Mrs Allen baked in here - presumably with the Council's knowledge?
I just skimmed that one.
Compare with the "I had to pay 6p for petrol" story, it's surprising how willing and unwilling drivers are to hand over their money. Schrödinger's cash cow.
.
Like most BMW's, indicators were optional on my new car. I decided to pay the extra to have them fitted, just so I had the fun of not using them to signal a turn. They do however, come in handy when parking on double yellow lines as I pop into the shops for a take away.
It'll be interesting to see which way the comments go on the march, assuming it gets off the ground. So far it's ritual hate between Cornwall and Devon, but Blakey has it right - Jamsdad isn't local either or he might know he's pretty much listed the first few train stations in Cornwall; Torpoint has its ferry, of course.
Oh no, call the police, someone has vandalised the above-mentioned wankpanzer - who would do such a thing??? Oh wait...
People are longing for a safe, car-free shopping environment
Surely the post was a reference to the publication scraping the barrel for news
Good job too - cream leads to more serious arterial congestion.
Don't forget you still need to drive there if it's 1/2 a mile away.
